Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud specialist, particularly in Journey Builder/Automation Studio. The candidate manages (in alignment with the Machinas team and the CRM team on the client side) the re-platforming of a range of customer life cycle communications to the SFMC environment. 

 


Key Responsibilities

This requires deep knowledge and experience in implementing customer journeys in the SFMC, working together with an in-house architect on the client side on the technical setup of the journeys. It requires you to implement journeys in the JB yourself, document and share the knowledge with the Machinas team for future rollouts of customer journeys.  

The candidate needs to have several years of demonstrable professional experience in SFMC, especially the Journey Builder, and be fluent in English, the language in which the project is executed.  

This project is set for a timeframe of 6 months, starting ASAP until the end of the year, with a possibility to extend beyond that timeframe. The candidate will ideally work on a freelance basis for this timeframe.

Qualifications

It is important to us that you have the following characteristics and experiences

  • Several years of demonstrable experience in implementing customer journeys to the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Journey Builder.  
  • Real-world experience defining and especially implementing complex journeys using AMPscript, custom data extensions, SQL queries etc.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken), German is a plus. 
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines, organise tasks and manage your projects whilst being able to quickly adapt to the changing priorities/situations requested by the client. 
  • Excellent time management, analytical and organisational skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent training skills to transfer your Journey Builder knowledge to the internal team.  
  • High energy level and massive enthusiasm to collaborate with an international client.
